The University of Sheffield

With a history that spans over 110 years, it is of no surprise that The University of Sheffield is a world top-100 Russell Group university, and is internationally renowned for its research-led learning and teaching – which has produced no less than 6 Nobel Prize winners. The university offers a range of course options to its student population of over 25,000, and these fall within one of six faculties: the Faculty of Arts and Humanities; the Faculty of Engineering; the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health; the Faculty of Science; the Faculty of Social Sciences and the International Faculty – City College, Thessaloniki. As Sheffield is “a global university”, it is able to supplement its varied course offerings with a range of work placement, study abroad, summer school and work abroad opportunities.
