Project Description
Stage 1
Online Application
You will need to complete an online application form.
Stage 2
Assessment
If your initial application is successful, you will be invited to sit some tests. The quantity and type of tests will vary depending on the role that you have applied for.
Stage 3
Psychometric Tests
Depending on your application, you may be asked to complete some psychometric tests. British Airways uses 3 types of psychometric tools – situational judgement tests, ability tests and personality questionnaires. The ability tests will consist of numerical reasoning, verbal reasoning or logical reasoning tests.
The tests will be timed and may be done online or in person, depending on your application. You may be asked to retake the test/s on the assessment day to ensure the validity of your results.
Stage 4
Interviews
British Airways uses face-to-face and telephone competency-based interviews. Both interviews will focus on instances where you have demonstrated a particular skill or quality. You will also be asked about the motivation behind your application. On the basis of this, your suitability for the role will be established.
