Bath Spa University

Although only having been granted University status in 2005, Bath Spa University has a history spanning over 160 years, and thus knows what it takes to deliver a well-rounded student experience to its student cohort of over 8,000. Courses on offer are broad, spanning across Bath Spa’s 4 academic schools: Bath Business School, the Bath School of Art and Design, the College of Liberal Arts, and the Institute for Education. Students are also given the opportunity to supplement their studies with study abroad opportunities in Australia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Mexico, Taiwan, and the United States.

In terms of on-site facilities and services, the campus libraries offer a range of study spaces and provide access to over 200,000 e-books and 15,000 academic e-journals. The libraries are also home to the Writing and Learning Centre, which provides skills with the academic know-how to write essays, reference properly, calculate statistics, and effectively prepare for exams. Bath Spa is also to home to its very own Job Shop, a hub for everything employment-related, offering students job support and opportunities. Similarly, the University’s Careers and Employability team is on-hand to help students to explore career and post study options via workshops and one-to-one sessions. Crucially, Bath Spa is also hope to its very own Students’ Union, which offers over 70 clubs and societies, and over 300 annual events, for students to dabble in.
