Republic Polytechnic

Founded in 2002, Republic Polytechnic (RP) was the first institution in Singapore to adopt Problem-based Learning (PBL) across all its diploma programmes. This approach encourages students to challenge ideas and think critically about what they are learning, creating an engaging experience that equips them to develop innovative solutions to real-world problems.

At the heart of RP’s education philosophy is the Greater Me Framework, which focuses on three aspirations: Greater Purpose, Greater Possibilities and Greater Impact. These pillars guide students through a holistic learning journey that goes beyond academics, helping them discover their strengths, passions and goals while preparing for life after graduation.
