The Courtauld Institute of Art Founded in 1932, the Courtauld Institute of Art (also known as The Courtauld) is one of the most prestigious institutions in the world for the study of art history, conservation, and curating. Situated in London, its small number of students and range of degree programmes ensure a tight-knit community and real focus on these respective areas. Crucially, the TEF-Silver-awarded institution also allows students to supplement their course material with a comprehensive library, home to over 200,000 resources, as well as Microsoft Office and opportunities to find on-site work. Dedicated careers advice ensure students are prepared for the world of work, whilst Counselling and Disability services ensure students get the help they need, when they need it most. Last but not least, a committed Students’ Union gives students the chance to personalise their student journey even further, whilst The Courtauld Gallery allows them the chance to experience aniconic collection, and the public to get involved via lectures, short courses, and summer schools. It truly is a fantastic destination for any art enthusiast looking to pursue this fascinating field even further.
