This project reinforced the importance of active listening and adaptability when dealing with difficult stakeholders. It also highlighted the value of maintaining open communication to build trust and collaboration with everyone involved.

The conflict was then resolved and both departments were on board with the new timeline as it worked for everyone. Fortunately, the project was successfully completed and the bond between both teams improved as they all felt heard, seen and valued.
This event taught the use of active listening and mediation as I was able to intercede between both departments and provide a working solution that fit everyone’s needs.
