The UBS graduate talent programme offers a series of training modules for new graduates seeking to start a career at UBS. The program lasts between 18 and 24 months and ends with a gateway workshop, which will prepare you for the next stage of your UBS career.

UBS Graduate Talent Programme Eligibility Criteria 

1. Education: Candidates must be in their final year of undergraduate studies or have graduated within the last two years with a 2.1 CGPA.
2. Experience: Open to all majors, but an interest in finance is needed. Relevant internships or work placements can also help boost your application.
3. Language Skills: UBS requires proficiency in the English language, even in non-English-speaking countries. Your communication skills will be evaluated during assessments and interviews.

UBS MBA Associate Programme Eligibility Criteria 

1. Education: For the associate internship, candidates must be between their first and second year. The MBA associate full-time program requires a completed MBA program. 
2. Experience: While the MBA associate internship does not require any specific experience, the full-time program requires the UBS Global Banking Internship.  

After the UBS MBA associate programme, another UBS student scheme is the UBS MBA Summer Internship Programme.

UBS Summer Internship Programme

What is the UBS summer internship programme?

The UBS Summer Internship programme is for candidates in their penultimate year of college. The 3-6 months program is paid, and an invitation to join the Graduate Talent program follows your graduation.

UBS Summer Internship Programme Eligibility Criteria 

1. Education: Candidates must be penultimate and final-year students across a variety of disciplines and possess a strong academic record. 
2. Experience: No specific experience is required, but candidates must have a deep interest in finance, banking or tech.  
3. Language Skills: Proficiency in the English language is required.

Applications usually open throughout September to December, and the programme typically kicks off in late June.

UBS Tomorrow’s Talent Programme (Spring Insight)

What is the UBS Tomorrow Talent Programme? 

The UBS Tomorrow’s Talent program gives you up-close and personal learning opportunities that get you thinking about your future. Along with the inner workings of the finance industry, you’ll learn how to excel at job hunting and perfect the application process.

UBS Tomorrow’s Talent Program Details

1. Education and Length:

• APAC: To apply for this 2-3 month program, you should be in your second year of a four-year course (or first of a three-year course).
• Switzerland: You need to be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. The program length is several days across half a year.
• EMEA/UK: You need to be in the first year of a three-year course or the second year of a four-year course, and the program length is 4 days.
• US: To apply for this 1-day opportunity, you need to be in your second-to-last year of undergraduate study. Some programs also accept master’s candidates.

2. Experience: No professional experience is required for this internship opportunity. 
3. Interest: Genuine interest in the finance industry.

After the UBS tomorrow’s talent programme, another UBS scheme is the UBS Apprenticeship.

UBS Apprenticeships

What is the UBS apprenticeship? 

The UBS apprenticeship makes you a full-time employee, and your role will be a mixture of learning, development, and on-the-job desk duties. You’ll get the skills and experiences to transition from school to the workplace, while working towards your qualifications.

1. Degree Apprenticeships: Final year of A Levels (or equivalent) or completed them within the last two years.
2. All Hiring Areas: ABB at A-Level (or equivalent). GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English Language (5 or above) and Mathematics (6 or above).

UBS Cadetship Program

What is the UBS Australia cadetship program? 

The UBS Australia cadetship program offers university students an exciting opportunity to fast-track their careers. As a Cadet, you’ll combine your university studies with hands-on experience at UBS, gaining invaluable work experience.

The UBS Cadetship positions will be available in Sydney. During your first two years of study, you will typically work full-time. After that, you may have the option to work part-time while continuing your studies full-time, depending on your role.

UBS Australia Cadetship Program Details

1. Submit a CV including a portrait photo, e.g., a high school photo
2. You must fill out a reference form, which is linked on the cadetship program page. The form must be completed by your career advisor, year coordinator, or principal and should include your predicted ATAR. Once completed, please attach it to your UBS Cadetship application or ask your school representative to email the completed form directly to sh-aus-cadetship-program@ubs.com
3. Your Year 11 end-of-year academic results
