Here’s what you’ll uncover in this guide:
The PwC assessment centre is a virtual, immersive assessment that allows PwC to learn more about you by assessing you against the core skills and attributes that are crucial for success at the firm. You will meet and work with up to five other candidates on the day and be supported throughout by a facilitator.
The PwC assessment centre typically includes the following exercises:
Case Study Exercise:
The PwC case study exercise will involve analysing a given scenario or case, and you will be required to provide recommendations based on your analysis. The content of the case study will be directly relevant to the role you’ve applied for.
In-tray Exercise:
The PwC in-tray exercise involves being presented with a number of pieces of information, of which you would be asked to sort, prioritise, and take action on.
Group Exercise:
The PwC group exercise will involve you getting paired with other shortlisted and present candidates to complete a task or discuss a scenario.
Final Interview:
The PwC final interview stage is an interview with members or executives from the business area you want to join. These conversations are mainly to check how you will fit with the company culture and the team. They may be held virtually or in person.
Good to Know: For graduate applicants, after the assessment centre, you will be contacted by a recruiter to discuss which business area and office you have been matched to. This is followed by a Business Assessment, an in-person interview with a senior leader from the matched area.
