Its practical-based courses cover a range of topics, including Health, Humanities, the Creative Arts, Science, Sport and Business, and Worcester offers a number of work experience, volunteer and internship opportunities alongside them. Furthermore, its “Earn as You Learn” scheme improves students’ employability via the careers service, and encourages students to seek part time employment. Since Worcester is a fairly new institution, it has a range of modern and state-of-the-art facilities, including new science laboratories, environmental testing facilities and “The Hive” – an internationally renowned resource for both staff members and students. These accolades atop of exciting study abroad opportunities and an outstanding Students’ Union, which supports over 530 Student Academic Representatives, make the University of Worcester an ideal institution for the 21st century student.
