Having had close links to industry since it was known as Hatfield Technical College, it is of no surprise that the University of Hertfordshire has a constant strive towards becoming the UK’s leading business-facing university. The university has managed to come a long way towards reaching this goal since it was established in the 1940s; it now has a student community of over 25,000, that comprises of individuals from over 100 countries – 96.5% of which find work or further study six months after graduating – a feat that surpasses the employment rates of the Russell Group.
