BT offers 11-month-long industrial placement programmes that aim to equip you with on-the-job skills alongside theoretical knowledge. You will work on live projects under the department’s senior professionals and will also have access to BT’s internal learning platforms.

4. BT Apprenticeships

What are BT apprenticeships?

BT’s apprenticeships are 12 month-4 year-long full-time apprenticeships, depending on the programme and qualification required, aiming to equip you with practical real-world skills through hands-on training by apprentice development coaches. 

It also provides blended learning for all of its level 2-level 6 apprenticeship programmes with some candidates spending on the programme type required to undergo additional training at a local college or specialist training organisation.

Most BT apprenticeships require at least 4 GCSE’s Grade 4-9 (C or above) with English and Maths as integral subjects. Alternatively, one can possess level 2 functional skills in literacy and numeracy as being equivalent to GCSE C.
