Are practice tests the best way to learn?

Practice exams are known to be the best way to prepare for real exams, this is due to how they help the learner to develop the key skill of pulling the information they need from memory to apply to the real question (Oakley & Sejnowkki, 2018)

This applies to practice tests, through regular practice the learner can understand how to approach certain styles of questions they will face with a strong balance of speed and accuracy.

Through our practice tests we also provide key insights regarding speed and accuracy and the test style to help further this knowledge for the user, ensuring when they face the real test they will be prepared.

Studies show that practice exams are the best way to prepare for real exams. This is because they implement spaced retrieval practice, with the learner pulling the information out of their memory when applying it to the question, which hardens that information in memory (Oakley & Sejnowski, 2018).
