Graduates First Limited was set up by Psychometric Consultants and Chartered Occupational Psychologists with years of experience in Psychometric testing and assessment. Our experts have worked with test publishing organisations such as SHL for many years.

With years of experience in designing and running graduate assessment centres, conducting competency based interviews and delivering training to HR personnel from top organisations on how to assess during an assessment centre, we have all the expertise necessary to advise you in all areas associated with graduate assessment.

Our teams of consultants have developed a variety of assessment tools for many FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 companies.

Our aim is to help graduates to succeed through to the later stages of an assessment centre. Our advice and tests will significantly increase the likelihood of this.

Why?

No assessment methodology is 100% perfect and sometimes graduates with perfectly acceptable levels of ability can be incorrectly sifted out of an assessment process (often at the onset). In basic terms, candidates taking a test who have never seen one before, are likely to dedicate some of their mental energy, on familiarising themselves with the content. The tests are timed, and this then wastes valuable time that would otherwise be used fully to demonstrate their ability. The candidate does not have the opportunity to truly demonstrate their ability and as such, their test scores show up as being lower than they would have been, had they had an opportunity to proactive and familiarise themselves with similar tests.

Those who have taken practise tests know what to expect in terms of formatting/presentation and so on. These individuals are then able to better demonstrate their ability than those who had not practised tests. These individuals are therefore less likely to be rejected.

Our experts

Our experts are all Chartered Psychologists who have approximately 40 years of combined experience in the field of consultancy, research, and assessment. Our teams include individuals who have lectured at numerous Russell Group Universities, published papers in peer-reviewed journals, and hold doctorates in the field of Psychology.
